Tux Love

Our fascination with androgynous dressing started with the post-war, emancipated flapper who scandalously wore ‘mens’ trousers in
the 1920s. Our desire to ‘dress like a boy’ shows no sign of abating and the tuxedo suit is just one way that the girls have been sartorially emulating the boys for decades.
To celebrate this, the king of British tailoring Paul Smith has designed a complete tuxedo collection inspired by Charlotte Rampling, Patti Smith and Lauren Bacall; women who know a thing or two about how to carry off a suit. The fifteen-piece collection in a monochrome palette from silky palazzo pants to satin lapelled coats, this timeless collection has something in there for every stylish tomboy.
